The causes I currently support or endorse, not that it really matters to anyone besides myself and maybe some of my family and close friends. This page is provided purely for informational purposes, I am not trying to get you to support the same causes I personally care about.

- 2021 – present From time to time I help out onderwaterinleiden.nl whenever I can, mostly fishing plastic garbage out of canals and waterways in Leiden. (If you like this project they do accept donations on their site)
- 2021- present Adding tracker flags and technical descriptions to the AVGcheck website tester. On this site you can test a particular website if they secretly load trackers without explicit user consent.
- 2021- present Hacked together a WordPress plugin for Stichting Lucifer to block the auto loading of Youtube Video’s when a visitor first hits a site. Now you have to give implicit consent to watch a Youtube video on a site. You can see it working here.
- 2021 – present Facebook Leak Check Nederland helped with the php/mariadb backend for Stichting Lucifer
- 2012/2013 – present board member in 2 foundations.
- 2012 – present Op at Kopimi.nl: Cutme, pasteme, kopimi!
- 2011 – 2014 active in diverse human rights activism groups as protest organizer or streetmedic mainly in The Hague.
- 2011 – present Emergency First Response, at least one First Aid workshop / streetmedic course a year
- 2011 – present Since privacy is very important to me I help out at Privacy4all as a backup system administrator, my personal email is hosted via this service.
- 2007 – present Sometimes when I have the energy and enough coffee I code for a good cause. This is how I created and still maintain the WordPress plugins for the management of virtual mumble servers over multiple servers of iMumble.nl
